Broaden your mind ... Broaden your world
I am not erudite enough to be interdisciplinary, but I can break rules.
Interdisciplinary Studiesexplore how the natural, artificial, and cultural dimensions of our world fit together. They take perspectives of many disciplines, in order to define new objects of study, and thus search for new ways to surmount obstacles and acheive our goals.
Our curricula emphasize
- collaboration among traditional disciplines
- paths of critical inquiry
- integrative research methods
- service learning, outreach, and community engagement
- social justice as defined from diverse perspectives
